We had the most wonderful birthing experience with Best Start! Little Max decided he wanted to hang out inside Mommy longer than we expected, so at 42 weeks we decided to break my water. In the weeks leading up to the birth, we were treated with the utmost respect and care by all of the staff at Best Start. The midwives urged us to relax and gave numerous natural remedies to help jumpstart the birthing process.

After my water was broken- we started labor 10 hours later. We labored for 12 hours under the watchful eye of Roberta and two birth assistants. We were allowed to wander around, play our relaxation CD on repeat and do what we needed to remain comfortable.

The staff that attended our birth was very gentle, encouraging, supportive, and caring. Maximus was born at 8:15 am- the perfect ending to the perfect birthing experience. I wouldn’t have done it any other way!!!
